Luminary Dermatology in the Eye Associates of Venice: Dr. Brazen changed my life. I am nothing short of absolutely thrilled with him as my dermatologist; he squeezed me in as a first time patient during the spring rush and immediately started multiple courses of treatment for me that no other dermatologist had ever even attempted before. Instead of dismissing me or chalking it up to my age, he really took the time and effort to make sure I was diagnosed properly. On top of that, I was having a really bad day on my first appointment with him due to multiple doctors appointments before it and was very emotional/crying because I was nervous about getting biopsies, and he never once made me feel judged. He and his medical assistant were so patient, professional, informative, and kind. Although it sounds minimal, having really bad rosacea/other flareups for a long time made me feel like I wasnt pretty. Being a good doctor is beyond medical treatment, its providing emotional relief for your patients, and I just cant thank Dr. Brazen enough for going above and beyond for me and helping me not only feel better, but feel like I look nice again. He is the prime example of the kind of person you want as your doctor, especially in your most vulnerable moments. The whole practice gets 5 stars from me, as his medical assistant is a sweetheart as well as the receptionist. Thank you Luminary Dermatology and Dr. Brazen for helping a 25 year old feel like herself again.
