My passion in life is to care for the ocular health of my patients and we will work together to maintain a good quality of vision for the rest of your life.
Dr. Trim is a board-certified optometrist and he holds his license to practice in the state of Florida. He has experience managing many ocular conditions that affect our everyday lives, such as dry eye, as well as others that are more difficult for patients to be aware of, such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. He provides primary eye care for patients of The Eye Associates both at the Sarasota/Bee Ridge location as well as the East Bradenton location. Dr. Trim earned his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biochemistry from Villanova University and then graduated with his degree in optometry from SUNY College of Optometry. While at SUNY, he completed his training at the University Eye Center as well as externship training at Eye Care Unlimited, where he helped manage many pre/post-cataract patients as well as pre/post-LASIK patients, at Gouverneur Hospital and at NYU Langone Ophthalmology.
Dr. Trim is a local to the West Central Florida community, growing up in the Tampa area and attending Jesuit High School. He enjoys watching any football and basketball on TV but makes sure to catch every Bucs game as well as his Villanova Wildcats every college basketball season. Dr. Trim is an avid golfer after playing on and captaining the golf team at Villanova during his time there and he still holds a lifelong dream of qualifying for the Masters Tournament as an amateur.
