Dr. Byung-Joon Ahn began his ophthalmic career as an optometrist with a degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He then went on to obtain two masters: one in Public Health from Harvard University, and the other in Health Care Management from New York University. After that, he received his medical degree from University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Ahn did his residency at New York Hospital of Queens, Cornell Medical College as well as New York Medical College. He then continued on to complete a Medical Retina Fellowship at the prestigious Bascom Palmer Institute in Miami.
